Kim Kardashian refuses to blame her bodyguard for her robbery ordeal as Instagram post reveals he's a doting father who shares gym selfies and photos from private jets

Family man: Kim Kardashian's bodyguard Pascal Duvier is a father-of-two who has earned his own social media following
Kim Kardashian does not blame her personal bodyguard for her traumatic robbery ordeal, which saw her threatened with a gun to her head, tied up and dumped in a bathtub inside her luxury Paris apartment.

Despite the fact Pascal Duvier was not there for the reality star when she needed him the most, she is not angry because she always felt safe staying by herself in the apartment at the Hotel de Pourtalès, a source told Us magazine.
'Kim is not blaming Pascal. She felt completely safe at the Paris apartment and doesn't believe this is his fault in any way,' they said.
Duvier has vowed to track down the five men who robbed the star at gunpoint after he came under fire for enjoying a night on the town at Arc nightclub in the French capital with Kourtney and Kendall Kardashian while his charge was bound and robbed.
'The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard,' Duvier said.
'We have tips and leads and we will find you. That I promise you...you messed with the wrong one,' he warned.
Duvier rushed to Kim's luxury Paris apartment when he heard about the raid early Monday morning from her friend Simone Harouche, but by then the five masked men had escaped on rented bicycles and left Kim tied up in her bathroom.
They took off with a ring worth a reported $4.5million (€4 million /£3.5 million) - last seen on Kim's finger in a Snapchat post earlier that night - and a jewelry box worth $6.7 million (€6 million/ £5.24 million).
The burly German bodyguard, who stands at 6'4' and weighs a hefty 264 pounds, has been working for Kim and Kanye since 2013.
It was just a few days ago that Kim declared 'Pascal's a G! He's the best bodyguard in town' after he saved her from being grabbed by a prankster in Paris.
Despite the fact Kim may have forgiven him, others have blasted Duvier for allowing the shocking security lapse on Monday.
Matt Fiddes, who worked as Michael Jackson's bodyguard for more than 10 years, said he was stunned the robbers had even got past the front door of the luxury Hotel de Pourtalès she was staying in - let alone to her bedroom.
Speaking to MailOnline, he said: 'The only people to blame are her security team. She is the most high profile female celebrity in the world...she is probably more recognisable than the American president.
'She has millions of fans and she should have had security prepared.
'When I was with Michael it just wouldn't have happened. The robbers wouldn't have got past the front door, let alone to her bedroom.'
According to his LinkedIn profile, Duvier has lots of experience with high profile clients.
He has previously worked for the Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Will.i.am, the Pussycat Dolls, Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Lana del Rey and Katy Perry.
